Can Diabetes Be Managed Or Cured
In June 2013,
Nigeria was declared by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to be the leading
country in Africa with the highest rate of people diagnosed with diabetes.
Diabetes
is a disease that affects your body’s ability to produce or use insulin.
Insulin is a hormone. When your body turns the food you eat into energy (also
called sugar or glucose), insulin is released to help transport this energy to
the cells. Insulin acts as a “key.” Its chemical message tells the cell to open
and receive glucose.
If you produce little or no insulin, or are insulin resistant, too much sugar
remains in your blood. Blood glucose levels are higher than normal for
individuals with diabetes. There are two main types of diabetes: Type 1 and
Type 2.
What is Type 1 diabetes?
When
you are affected with Type 1 diabetes, your pancreas does not produce insulin.
Type 1 diabetes is also called juvenile diabetes, since it is often diagnosed
in children or teens. This type accounts for 5-10 percent of people with
diabetes.
What is Type 2 diabetes?
Type
2 diabetes occurs when the body does not produce enough insulin, or when the
cells are unable to use insulin properly, which is called insulin resistance.
Type 2 diabetes is commonly called “adult-onset diabetes” since it is diagnosed
later in life, generally after the age of 45. 90-95 percent of people with
diabetes have this type. In recent years Type 2 diabetes has been diagnosed in
younger people, including children, more frequently than in the past.
Are There Other Forms Of Diabetes?
There
is another type called Gestational diabetes. It occurs during pregnancy and
affects about 18 percent of all pregnancies.
Gestational
diabetes usually goes away after pregnancy, but once you've had gestational
diabetes, your chances are higher that it will happen in future pregnancies. In
some women pregnancy uncovers Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes and these women will
need to continue diabetes treatment after pregnancy.
There
seems to be a link between the tendency to have gestational diabetes and Type 2
diabetes, and many women who had gestational diabetes develop Type 2 diabetes later
on. Gestational diabetes and Type 2 diabetes both involve insulin resistance.
Certain basic lifestyle changes may help prevent diabetes after gestational
diabetes.
Pre-diabetes
is a condition that causes a person’s blood sugar levels to be higher than
normal but not high enough to be diagnosed with diabetes. The American Diabetes
Association estimates that there are 41 million Americans that have
pre-diabetes in addition to the 18.2 million with diabetes, and Nigeria from
their statistics has the highest figure of people living with diabetes in
Africa
Now
the big question is ….. What causes Diabetes?
The
cause of diabetes is unknown. These amongst others are the causes of diabetes.
ü
Genetics,
ü
Diet
(lifestyle)
ü
Obesity
ü
and
lack of exercise may play a role in developing diabetes, especially Type 2
diabetes.
How Does Diabetes Affect My Body?
Over
time, high blood sugar levels (also called hyperglycemia) can lead to kidney disease, heart disease and
blindness. The excess sugar in the bloodstream can damage the tiny blood
vessels in your eyes and kidneys, and can harden
or narrow your arteries.
What Are The Symptoms of Diabetes?
- Extreme thirst
- Frequent urination
- Blurry vision
- Extreme hunger
- Increased tiredness
- Unusual weight loss
How Can I Find Out If I Have Diabetes?
Sometimes
a routine exam by an eye doctor or foot doctor will reveal diabetes. Diabetes
affects the circulation to your feet and the tiny blood vessels in your eyes.
If your eye doctor or your foot doctor suspects you have diabetes, he will
recommend you see your regular physician for a blood sugar level test.
The
most common test is a fasting blood glucose test. After not eating for at least
eight hours, usually overnight, your doctor will take a blood sample. The
normal, non-diabetic range for blood glucose is 70 to 110 mg/dl. If your level
is over 140 mg/dl, you may have diabetes.
If I have signs of
diabetes, what should I do?
If The Above
Describes Your Case, It Means:
You can’t
produce enough insulin in your body system to convert the glucose in
your blood for optimum cellular benefit
You risk
having all the complications associated with diabetes like: kidney problem, eye
problem, erectile dysfunction, stroke, heart problem e.t.c
You always
have to think about what food to eat and be placed on restricted diet.
You have to
deal with the side effect of those medications that you are presently taking
just to stay alive.
You will be
putting on weight as a result of the medication that you are on and weight gain
itself is an additional problem, when not controlled may lead to obesity
If any of this
sounds familiar to you, then you must definitely take out time to read this
letter.
Medical
experts say that no fewer than three million people are living with diabetes in
Nigeria and as a result of this, type 2 diabetes is killing much faster than
HIV/AIDS.
mmmmmmm….. This
Is Serious ........ The international diabetes association has stated that by
2030, 522 million people will be living with type 2 diabetes worldwide. Could
this really be happening in our world today knowing the fact that this was not
so centuries back.
This goes to
tell you that something actually went wrong along the way…
And what was
that…? I call it the Industrialization
of Men- (lifestyle changes, nutritional gaps, fast pace of life etc)
Now here is
something you need to know.
Most of our
parents grew so old without most of the diseases that affect us now in our own
generation despite the fact that medical facilities were not as developed as we
have them around us now. If they were diabetic then they wouldn’t have lived
that long.
Unfortunately
the medical community actually knows about this but they will never consider it
as something to be revealed to their clients and patients just because they
need to keep making money from drug purchase and hospital income generation.
It baffles me
a lot when a patient leaves the hospital after treatment and he/she is never
educated on “how not to come back again” by embracing preventive measures. They
seem to always be interested in seeing their patients come back over and over
again. They lose hundreds of millions of dollars in profit when they reveal
this truth! So they will rather prefer to continue making their profit from you
actually living with the disease and managing it until you die… Which is just CRUEL AND MEAN
Now, Here
Comes the “Natural Supplemental” Remedy to Your Type 2 Diabetes called “DiaPack”
Using one of
the revolutionary plants that have been in existence for over 5000 years, there
is now a way by which you can naturally lower your blood sugar level and
finally help you with reversing your diabetes
And best of
all, they are highly organic products that will not give you any side effect like
what other chemicalized drugs would give. It also has international seals/certificates
The product
has the prestigious Kosher Seal (which makes it acceptable to the Jews). The
Jews don’t take anything that isn’t 100% natural. Infact, they don’t even take
bread with yeast! They believe in no additives.
It also has
other seals including the Halal and Islamic seals. (These are Seals of highest
form of purity including our own NAFDAC in Nigeria.
